RBU Pendulum dampers

  • Type: Single or double pendulum flap for metering and separating mass flows of dusty or fine-grained products.

RBU LDK Air throttle valves

  • Type: Air throttle valves - extremely robust and maintenance-free

RBU HGK Hot gas flaps

  • Type: Extremely robust hot gas dampers with generous safety reserves, taking into account optimum flow conditions
  • Maximum pressure: approx. 200mbar
  • Application: Combustion and furnace systems
  • Operating temperature: 1100°C (For highest temperatures)
  • Size: DN500 to DN3000
  • Design: Round and square, 1- or 2-leaf

RBU SIK safety flaps

  • Type: Robust safety flaps as quick-closing flap with drop weight (ATEX optional)
  • Maximum pressure: 500mbar
  • Einsatz: Sicherheitsklappe – Schließzeit < 1 sec. (Sicherheitsstellung in OFFEN oder GESCHLOSSEN)
  • Operating temperature: up to max. approx. 800°C

  • Actuation: The valve is connected to the actuator via two levers by means of a holding magnet. To disconnect the valve from the actuator in case of a malfunction, the holding magnet is de-energised and the valve moves to the open or closed position by means of the counterweight. To restore the connection, the actuator follows the valve.

RBU TDK Flue gas dampers

  • Type: Double dampers and double louver dampers are used for gas-tight shut-off of flue gas ducts. (With gas-tight sealing air)
  • Maximum pressure: approx. 200mbar
  • Application: Gas-tight shut-off of flue gas ducts
  • Operating temperature: max. 500°C
  • Size: DN100 to DN5000

  • Sealing: special metallic lamellas for optimum sealing. Sealing air stations for 100 % sealing with integrated heating coil to prevent condensation of the sealing air.

RBU RSK shut-off and control dampers

  • Type: Extremely robust and universally applicable shut-off and control damper with external bearings on both sides. Ideal for use at higher temperatures and with high dust loads.

  • Application: Shut-off and control dampers
  • Operating temperature: up to 600°C (external bearings on both sides, insensitive to dirt - stuffing boxes can be readjusted)
  • Size: DN600 to DN6000

RBU BSK shut-off and control dampers

  • Type: To maximise the free cross-sectional area and minimise the pressure loss, optimised blade design with special shaft lead-through. External roller bearings on both sides. Ideal for applications with high dust loading and minimum permissible pressure losses.

  • Operating temperature: up to 500°C (external bearings on both sides, insensitive to dirt - stuffing boxes can be readjusted)
  • Size: DN600 to DN6000

RBU STS Gate valve

  • Type: Gate valves are designed for round or square pipelines with cross-sections of up to approx.15 m² and, depending on the specification, for operating temperatures of up to 900 °C (tertiary air gate valves).

Spectacle slider

Spectacle slides enable a 100% tight closure of gas pipes in accordance with the safety regulations of the UVV. The gas-tight shut-off is maintained even in the event of a power failure and corresponds to a blind flange closure. Depending on the customer's requirements, these slides can be supplied in an open or closed design. These gland valves are mainly used in metallurgical plants, in blast furnace gas and converter gas pipelines and everywhere where gas-carrying pipelines have to be shut off quickly and safely in a gas-tight manner.

Steering arm flaps

Steering lever dampers are used for gas-tight shut-off of gas pipes. They are technically considered to be tight-closing (DIN 3220). The high tightness is achieved by a soft seal against which the valve disc is pressed by the main lever. When opening, the disc first lifts off the sealing strip in the axial direction and is then swivelled by the steering levers until it is parallel to the pipeline axis. No abrasion can occur on the seal during this process. Steering lever flaps are usually operated hydraulically.

Angle valves
