The air butterfly valves (LDK) from RBU are your possibility to control volume flows absolutely safely and efficiently. They are virtually the all-rounders in the field of control and shut-off technology and have proven themselves over decades and internationally in a wide variety of applications. Due to our special design, the air butterfly valves are particularly durable and, of course, technically at the highest level.
For the greatest possible safety, the design naturally meets all the requirements of the air technology standards and is nevertheless individually adapted to the conditions in your plant system. Depending on the design of the air dampers, they are either installed in the pipeline with flanges or simply clamped in place. The latter type of construction is particularly lightweight. As a rule, the installation position is with a horizontal shaft, but our technical expertise allows individual adaptation to your plant.

As already mentioned, our air butterfly valves (LDK) are true all-rounders in the field of control and shut-off technology. Their field of application is correspondingly broad. They can be used, for example, in smelting plants, foundries, cement works or industrial furnaces. They are also used in glass factories, drying and dust removal plants, heat treatment plants or in high-temperature furnace construction. Various closure types - Up to 100% tightness
Our air butterfly valves are available with different types of closure, depending on requirements, in order to regulate the tightness down to the smallest detail. For example, with a penetrating design, a tightness of about 99% is ensured compared to the fully open damper disc. In the case of a metal stop seal with a stop bar in the housing, the tightness increases to about 99.5%. If a soft sealing insert is added, we achieve an even higher 99.95% tightness. Only with sealing air can we achieve a tightness of up to 100%.
